Hi All -

Yesterday and today Apple canceled all of our outstanding BuyForMe orders for iPads.

Over the past weeks, we have worked extremely hard at circumventing the hurdles that Apple put in place and made many iPad fans outside the USA happy. Apple must have figured us out and canceled all our outstanding BuyForMe orders. Apple really does not want that Apple fans outside of the USA get their hands on an iPad.

We will contact impacted customers and fully refund the Buy For Me order. Also we will not be talking any new Buy For Me orders.

Not a happy bundling day

Andre & the BundleBox team

——————————————————————————————————————————

Due to overwhelming demand we have stopped taking new orders for the iPad.

——————————————————————————————————————————

Hi All -

We are ready to take on new iPad orders tomorrow. Here is the deal:

- You can start placing new orders on Wednesday April 21st, 10:00 UK time.

- One iPad per customer.

- Only WiFi models (16WF, 32WF or 64WF), we are not processing orders for the 3G version currently.

- The order is only for an iPad. If you desire accessories such as the iPad Dock, Keyboard or Case, please fill out an additional BFM request for accessories.

- Orders will be fulfilled on a first come, first serve basis, until we have reached our capacity.

We hope that we will be able to make more Apple Ipad fans happy!

Happy bundling

Andre

The iPad has Landed!

It has been a phenomenally exciting few days as the first Apple iPad’s started arriving in the UK via BundleBox. We are honoured to introduce you to some of the first iPadding Bundleers. Check out their grins!

Peter Cooper with his new iPad

Peter Cooper & his shiny new iPad

Peter Cooper is an author, professional blogger and creator of numerous web properties and technologies had his iPad shipped via BundleBox. We were delighted to have Peter’s first thoughts on his coveted new iPad:

‘The iPad has its pros and cons but they still seem to be changing on a daily basis for me. In terms of reading e-books and browsing the Web though, it excels!’

‘The experience of buying it through Bundlebox worked out very well, although there were plenty of finger crossing moments. I can see Bundlebox’s process being incredibly slick and stress free - great job guys!’

A very chuffed looking Matthew Green with iPad

A very chuffed looking Matthew Green with iPad

Matthew Green from Devon is over the moon to be an iPad owner.

‘I am an iPhone (and by default iPad) Developer based in Devon, UK. With BundleBox’s service I would still be unable to develop and test my iPad Apps because of Apple’s policy of releasing in the USA only first.

I am no longer at a disadvantage to competitors and should be able to secure some work in the weeks building up to the release of the iPad in the UK by having the device to work on now

Thank you BundleBox for providing this service which was speedy and simple’

iCreate Journalist Ben, has also shared the moment he received his iPad via BundleBox by posting a video blog on the iCreate website and Twitter.

And finally, another happy Bundleer Andy Mallins shared his iPad moment with us below.       Happy Bundling!!

Home Gadget Must Haves from the USA

We love gadgets and gismo’s from the USA at BundleBox. At this very moment a swarm of shiny new Apple iPads are making their way to savvy pre-ordering Bundleers in the UK. Super exciting!

There are however many fun USA products to marvel at including those that make home life that little bit easier. Perhaps justifying the coveted piece as a multi-tasking essential will make purchasing all the more exciting!

The revolutionary and beautifully sleek Tweeting kettle  is designed by Ben Perman and Murat Multu. It tweets via WIFI to alert you when it has boiled.

Tweeting Kettle $115

Tweeting Kettle $115

A very clever built in device tells you how much water you have boiled each week. Reported to retail at approx $115 when it is released in the USA soon. We will be keeping a close eye on gizmodo.com for news on the launch.

Moving from the kitchen to the living room we are getting slightly far fetched here but who does not want a iRobot Roomba vacum cleaner!

iRobot Roomba Hoover $335.56

iRobot Roomba Hoover $335.56

This super cool home priority will whizz around the home cleaning carpeted and hard floor surfaces.

The Muvi Micro camcorder is apparently the smallest in the world and how cute it looks too!

Muvi Micro Camcorder $99.99

Muvi Micro Camcorder $99.99

It can be worn around you neck and comes with 2GB hard drive space.

Happy Bundling,

The BundleBox Team.

Jamie also writes his own blog about everything from his Creme Egg brownie recipe to technical articles on the latest gadgets and products.

Q. Hello Jamie, nice cake! How did you hear about BundleBox?

I found out about BundleBox from a news article while looking for a way to buy an iPad from the USA. My fiancee is American, so I was thinking on getting one sent to her Mom and having her post it over, but the way that BundleBox takes care of all the duty and VAT charges in advance made me choose them instead. It was much simpler for me - not to mention my fiancee’s Mom!

Q. What was your most recent USA purchase using BundleBox?

I bought a hefty 16-port powered USB hub ($159) from Think Geek.

16 point USB Hub from Think Geek $175

16 port USB Hub from Think Geek $159

I need a lot of storage day-to-day. I was looking for something that would provide enough power to run all my hard drives, as well as normal things like keyboard, mouse, iPhone and iPad, soon!). The hubs I found in the UK seem to stop at about 7 ports, and from experience they don’t really provide very much juice.

Q. What do you think of the Think Geek website?

It’s full of fun stuff - though it can be a little pricey. Great for presents and esoteric geeky goodies and t-shirts.

Q. What do you think is the ‘must have’ item to buy right now from the USA?

I’m sure different people would have different answers to that, but for me it’s the iPad, certainly!

Q. I understand you are waiting on your iPad arriving via BundleBox. Excited?

I’m very excited. I justified the advance US purchase to myself by saying that I needed it for my work, but really, I’m most looking forward to just reading news on it over breakfast on a Sunday. I’m a ‘true believer’ as far as the iPad is concerned - I really do think it’s going to change the way we interact with computers.

Q. What advice would you give when it comes to purchasing from the USA?

Shop around.

Pre-Order Your iPad with BundleBox

Apple.com will officially open the pre-order of the iPad in the USA today (1330 GMT).

With BundleBox, you can be among the first owners an iPad in the UK, Europe and Hong Kong, receiving it within 3 days of the highly anticipated 3rd April US launch.

That means you can get your hands on the iPad around a month before the UK, Europe and Hong Kong will have it for sale.

HOW CAN I GET IT?

There are two ways to get your hands on the iPad in advance:

1. US CREDIT CARD

If you own a US credit card simply pre-order your iPad on the Apple website from March 12th and have it delivered to your USA BundleBox address following the 3rd April launch.

2. BUNDLEBOX BUY FOR ME SERVICE

No US Credit Card? no problem! Our Buy For Me service lets you register and pay for your iPad in advance by filling in a simple form. BundleBox will buy the iPad on your behalf and deliver to your USA BundleBox address following the 3rd April launch.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

IPAD.jpg

The 16GB WiFi version will cost £465.20. This includes all shipping costs and VAT, a saving of over £30 on the rumoured UK launch price!

Happy Bundling,

The Bundle Box Team.
