The smarter way to buy from the USA

The iPad has been one of the most exciting purchases picked up by a host of our Bundleers from the USA this year before its Worldwide release. A fantastic product in itself, there are also a few super-cool accessories to go with it. This week we met up with Lynette Webb who recently snapped up a Dodo case for her iPad.

I used to live in the US and since moving away always regretted not having the same wide selection. The service so far has been stellar. Fast replies to questions, and they’ve gone out of their way to help. Eg, a few months back I needed to get a replacement glass beaker to go with my UK bought kitchenaid coffee grinder after I’d broken it. Kitchenaid repairs in UK couldn’t help so I called kitchenaid in US. They had them in stock but wouldn’t ship internationally, nor even accept nonUS credit card. Shopping during sale season can yield some amazing bargains from big US stores, but the best part is being able to buy from niche specialists, most of whom don’t ship internationally. Avoid heavy or bulky things so as to cut down on postage fees.
