Now that Eyjafjallajokull has calmed down a bit and planes are flying again we have resumed sending out delivery shipments. We are continuing with practicing how to pronounce Eyjafjallajokull.
If you are not in a hurry, we advise to wait with booking your delivery shipments until next week, until the airlines and Fedex have cleared their backlogs. We have temporarily suspended our storage fee, so you are not faced with additional charges if you decide to postpone your booking for a week. Now you can keep your purchases in your BundleBox free of charge for 45 days.

We are delighted to introduce a lady who knows a thing or two about make-up. Amy Dillon, Editor of the highly regarded Irish website makeupandbeauty.ie shares her expert beauty knowledge and offers us a few tips on where to shop in the USA.
Amy Dillon from makeupandbeauty.ie
Hi Amy, when did you get interested in cosmetics and make-up?
I have been a make-up addict since the age of 5, I got my little hands on my grandmothers Revlon lipstick and it was love. I then trained as a make-up artist.
Tell me about how you went about setting up your website Makeupandbeauty.ie
I set up Makeupandbeauty.ie to offer tips and advice to ladies who are interested in makeup and beauty products. I also wanted to offer makeup video consultations. I particularly enjoy showing women how to use ingredients they already have in their kitchens to make their own skincare.
What in your opinion are the must have make-up bag essentials for every woman?
I think every woman could survive with Mascara, concealer and a lipstick…if we had to.
Do you have tips for shopping for cosmetics in the USA? Favourite websites?
I like beautycrunch.com for cheap makeup deals, Victoria Secret for fragrances and cosmetics.
How often do you shop USA from the USA?
I like to compile a list over a few months and then order everything in one haul.
What was your experience of BundleBox?
BundleBox are professional and friendly. All of my queries were answered within a few hours. It seems dedicated to providing an exceptional service. It’s very helpful to have a customer care rep on Twitter, that means you can get a very quick response to general queries.
The site is easy to use and the company updated me regularly on my account via email. The quotation and repackaging service are a great idea. It is also great that BundleBox can order on your behalf if a company will not accept a credit card from outside the US.
What tips advice would you give people when shopping from the USA?
Plan ahead. Order everything you want so that your items arrive to BundleBox at roughly the same time and can be shipped together. Try and order from companies that are offering free shipping within the US, then there are not charges to have these items delivered to your BundleBox.
I would also recommend that people take advantage of the quotation service, then you know roughly how much shipping is going to cost. If you have multiple packages it might be useful to avail of the repackaging service to cut shipping costs. If possible avoid buying very heavy items as this will increase the cost of shipping.

Hi all -
It has been quite a week at BundleBox, with the continuation of the iPad avalanche, then someone copying our site, then a server glitch and now we have volcano Eyjafjallajokull preventing BundleBox packages to reach Europe!
On Friday we have held all the booked shipments at the BundleBox warehouse, as flights to the UK and mainland Europe were canceled. We will continue to do so, until the air traffic ban has been lifted. For the UK, the air traffic ban is currently in place until this Sunday, April 18th. You can continue to book your shipments as usual, and we will send them out as soon as the air traffic ban is lifted.
We are monitoring the situation closely and will keep you updated with any developments on http://www.bundlebox.com/blog/.

Dear Bundleers -
Today we discovered that some company basically copied our site. They even used the same pictures!!!! It created quite a stir at the BundleBox HQ. “That’s not very nice, copying is not allowed” said Emma, my five year old daughter. Even she was upset.
There were some heated debates but quickly we concluded that copying our site is one thing, but copying our service will be much much harder.
Interesting to note is that the only part that they did not copy is our copyright policy. I guess there is little to worry that another company will make a copy of a copy.

Hey Guys -
On Saturday 17:20 GMT our BundleBox server got tired after a week of hard work and had some hick-ups. I am happy to announce that after some patching up it is back on its feet and humming along nicely.
Thanks Andy, Aleksandr, Alex and team for fixing this over the weekend.
It has been a phenomenally exciting few days as the first Apple iPad’s started arriving in the UK via BundleBox. We are honoured to introduce you to some of the first iPadding Bundleers. Check out their grins!
Peter Cooper & his shiny new iPad
Peter Cooper is an author, professional blogger and creator of numerous web properties and technologies had his iPad shipped via BundleBox. We were delighted to have Peter’s first thoughts on his coveted new iPad:
‘The iPad has its pros and cons but they still seem to be changing on a daily basis for me. In terms of reading e-books and browsing the Web though, it excels!’
‘The experience of buying it through Bundlebox worked out very well, although there were plenty of finger crossing moments. I can see Bundlebox’s process being incredibly slick and stress free – great job guys!’
A very chuffed looking Matthew Green with iPad
Matthew Green from Devon is over the moon to be an iPad owner.
‘I am an iPhone (and by default iPad) Developer based in Devon, UK. With BundleBox’s service I would still be unable to develop and test my iPad Apps because of Apple’s policy of releasing in the USA only first.
I am no longer at a disadvantage to competitors and should be able to secure some work in the weeks building up to the release of the iPad in the UK by having the device to work on now
Thank you BundleBox for providing this service which was speedy and simple’
iCreate Journalist Ben, has also shared the moment he received his iPad via BundleBox by posting a video blog on the iCreate website and Twitter.
And finally, another happy Bundleer Andy Mallins shared his iPad moment with us below. Happy Bundling!!
